Aidan's Story
Born and raised in NYC, Aidan graduated from Hunter College High School (2011) and then New York University (2015). During his time at NYU, he began working at East Harlem's Isaac Newton Middle School (just 5 blocks from his childhood home) through America Reads/America Counts. He then embarked on what would become a decade long journey into the world of academic coaching and tutoring. After working at a few tutoring agencies, he began offering his own private services where he had control over the methods and materials used. He then partnered with the local educational non-profit, The Exam Schools Partnership Initiative, to lead development of their pilot curriculum. From there, he went on to build Admit One Tutoring which provides tutors who have the specialized skills needed for students with different subject demands.

Leo Liebeskind

A graduate of Columbia University with a degree in Creative Writing, Leo is the son of an English teacher/Author and a Visual Artist. Leo is also a highly experienced tutor who has worked with multiple NYC agencies including Ibid Prep, Kweller Prep, and SchoolSharp+. In addition to his experience doing test prep and subject tutoring, Leo is also a professional musician and published poet who has a deep understanding of how to cultivate creativity.
Alison Humes

A Harvard graduate, Alison is a former (now retired) senior editor for publishing powerhouse Condé Nast. She has worked as an editor for major publications such as: Vogue, The Atlantic, and Condé Nast Traveler. She also has had her writing published in The Wall Street Journal, Oprah Magazine, NBC News and more. She is an empathic instructor with a true passion for the written word.
Aaron Veera (Remote Only)

Aaron has worked as a tutor in NYC for over 5 years helping students navigate
through the selective New York City public high school admissions process. He also has designed and taught various enrichment classes. After receiving his Bachelor's from Wesleyan Univeristy, Aaron obtained his MBA from Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Aaron is passionate about ensuring equal access to education for all of NYC's students.
Elliot Wolf (Remote Only)

Elliot is a Hunter College High School and Williams College graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. He has successfuly prepped students for IB and AP exams in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. He has interned at Lenox Hill Hospital as a Clinical Research Scientist.
Aidan O'Connor

Although his schedule is often completely booked out by long-term clients and the needs of the business, Aidan is available for sessions whenever possible. He will always make time to help counsel families on the best educational path for their unique situation and child. Beyond helping students achieve their goals, Aidan has a deep understanding of the high school and college application process, the schools available, and their pros and cons. He also has a vast network of former students who he is happy to connect with prospective students to learn about different schools.
